You can experience three seasons of weather in November within days.
We just got back from a 2 week trip. Bring a carry on suitcase, minimal clothing. Bring an empty duffle to take other stuff home. Unless you want to buy a bag. Don’t buy the first thing you see. Bargain your way through everything in the markets. If your wanting to see multiple places, stay in a hotel up north and a place in the south so you can travel to different sites
Apparently Da Nang is vacation land for smokers, you smell cigarettes constantly. You can get your laundry done for you very very cheap. When crossing the street, cars and motorcycles avoid you but they do not stop if at all possible. Don’t do anything unpredictable when crossing the street. The restaurants are very affordable, you could really save a lot of money if you eat with the locals eat. The locals are so friendly, spend some time outside of the tourist areas
Don’t bother with Phu Quoc. And bring cash from your own country & exchange in Vietnam for best bang for buck.
I did it south to north. I think most people wish they had known that it might be better that way. I met a lot of people coming from the south who had such fantastic experiences behind them and regretted doing it N>S.
That danang and Hoi an is so close 30 minute drive. I would Hve just spent 6 nights at whydnam villas resort. Everyone is so kind and helpful and yiu don’t need to book everything over here, you can go to reception and order cars to get you places or just a grab or taxi
Avoid SGN airport like the plauge
Much better than expected… much kinder people, very easy to go around, very modern.
Bring wet wipes. You will need them
