Pack a quality, reusable water bottle and be prepared to buy packaged water wherever you go. You can refill your reusable bottle while out and about exploring. It helps keep your water cooler than a plastic bottle would.

Learn the value and conversion of the currency. Go online and research what each denomination looks like and have a good idea of the conversion of each. This eliminates a lot of stress and anxiety with on the spot shopping.

Wear apatterned shirt not a solid color because the pho will leave marks on your shirt! And practice doing squats so you can stand up easily from little low chairs in cafes

If your phone is newer and has eSIM, make sure you get your carrier to unlock BEFORE you go. If your phone is not paid off, some carriers wont unlock SIM.

Hoi an is my favourite. The atmosphere is amazing with the lanterns and the rivers. Try and plan a trip to either Phuket or Sami. We usually go to Danang back to Bangkok and fly to Thailand either at the beginning or at the end of our trip.

Install the Uber app call grab. Pay for your ride on the app so that you don’t have to deal paying at the time of service. Drivers will tell you they don’t have change and you end up tipping them more than you want to..it’s worth if good service..however you can get screwed..
