   How different every place is, awesome doing a Ha Giang loop tour was (and that you are a passenger so no need to drive yourself), that you can download languages in google translate so they are available even when no network coverage, how humid it would be (electrolytes are good but also available there). Next time I go I will also get an esim in advance (too many options and stories to navigate…..simpler to research and get in advance). Dentist in hcm was great (no appointment was necessary and very thorough) – would have allowed more time for other work.

   Just bring a wad of cash, shop around for best rates and just exchange it to dong after. We had no worry about money getting stolen (also stayed in ‘better’ hotels).
