( I never complain and I am aware I am in Asia and don’t have high expectations what so ever and by that I mean that I know I’m not in my home country so the culture and the behaviour of locals will differ and this is my 3rd sleeper bus this week and the others have been completely fine) I just wanted to say to avoid this company when booking your sleeper bus ( tuan Trinh) I got picked up earlier today ( they were late but that’s not an issue ) it has been raining really bad and when I gave them my backpack to put onto the bus the driver pushed me out of the way and I nearly fell and again I didn’t say anything. I then got onto the bus and asked where my seat was and the driver just pointed straight I then just chose a random bed and he started shouting at me and said “ no “ without telling me where to actually go. The drivers here also beep a lot however this driver was constantly beeping every second and if you’re right at the front you will not get ANY sleep. We then stopped for a toilet break and after 3 minutes the driver starts shouting at everyone to come back bear in mind some ladies might take longer in the toilet etc. and lastly, there are children on this bus and the driver is driving and smoking cigarettes. I’m only about 4 hours into my journey and still have about 8 more left. Just wanted to warn everyone as it’s definitely made me feel out of place and I feel like I have to tip toe around them as I’m worried they will shout at me again lol.

Having read many of these types of posts, I’m choosing to fly, when I go in July. . What a horrible experience.
I have only taken 1 so far while being in Vietnam and it was ok, I wouldn’t say the driver was rude or anything. But I am taking another one soon that’s longer so I hope all is good with that one
Just stay home
The beeping is very common . Smoking is not okay.
I think I have used the same company( not sure have to check) when travelling to Da nang. My experience was similar. In fact the driver was even more aggressive with customers and his driving.
They rushed because have to catch up next drive on time, that is why you see some video bus driver like crazily speedy on road, the whole system failure running by pretty bad people in business, put profits over everything else. Sorry for having bad experience
I’d complain to the company about the smoking as I’m sure they aren’t supposed to do that and leave a poor review about the rest. We did a night bus too that was awful (for different reasons) and I think the daytime drivers are much better. We also had more stops on the day & the scenery was good. Not sure what route this was but we just flew rather than do Da Lat to Hoi An. Check the prices or alternatively split the bus journeys with a stop off.
You travel cheaply, you need to reduce your expectations.
Had the same experience in Vietnam and I was a witness of some very rude situations as well between bus drivers and passengers. The trains are much better in my opinion, but I know you can’t take them to every destinations. The bus rides felt horrible because of the constant beeping, very dangerous driving even in the mountains and maybe tge worst thing of all; none of them have a toilet on board. So I literally had to ask a driver like 5 times to stop, before he actually wanted to stop and we were already driving for more than 3 hours. Never again I’ll take busses there for long distance
My advice is not to take it personally. This might just be their culture and how they act everyday on the job. Rude people exist everywhere.
