( I never complain and I am aware I am in Asia and don’t have high expectations what so ever and by that I mean that I know I’m not in my home country so the culture and the behaviour of locals will differ and this is my 3rd sleeper bus this week and the others have been completely fine) I just wanted to say to avoid this company when booking your sleeper bus ( tuan Trinh) I got picked up earlier today ( they were late but that’s not an issue ) it has been raining really bad and when I gave them my backpack to put onto the bus the driver pushed me out of the way and I nearly fell and again I didn’t say anything. I then got onto the bus and asked where my seat was and the driver just pointed straight I then just chose a random bed and he started shouting at me and said “ no “ without telling me where to actually go. The drivers here also beep a lot however this driver was constantly beeping every second and if you’re right at the front you will not get ANY sleep. We then stopped for a toilet break and after 3 minutes the driver starts shouting at everyone to come back bear in mind some ladies might take longer in the toilet etc. and lastly, there are children on this bus and the driver is driving and smoking cigarettes. I’m only about 4 hours into my journey and still have about 8 more left. Just wanted to warn everyone as it’s definitely made me feel out of place and I feel like I have to tip toe around them as I’m worried they will shout at me again lol.

Most vietnamese people do talk loudly like they are yelling. Traffic in VN is horrible and dangerous, hence the horn always. The driver probably don’t understand or speak any other languages, hence the bad communication about where you sleep/sit. VN people are very strong spirited and can be misinterpreted a bring rude and impolite. Pretty much everyone smokes in VN. Sorry you had a bad experience. When I was in VN, I flew from South to Middle to North. Was thinking about taking bus the next time I visit, but you made me change my mind

This happened in Vietnam so maybe stop being racist and stop generalizing all of Asia for what that one bus driver did. Low expectations because it’s Asia? That’s racist. Have you ever dealt with nyc bus drivers?

Appreciate your feedback and this will improve the experience in the fututure. Please dont let one bad experience to ruin your trip , I believe you encountered plenty of nice vnamese people than this one occasion on your trip?
