( I never complain and I am aware I am in Asia and don’t have high expectations what so ever and by that I mean that I know I’m not in my home country so the culture and the behaviour of locals will differ and this is my 3rd sleeper bus this week and the others have been completely fine) I just wanted to say to avoid this company when booking your sleeper bus ( tuan Trinh) I got picked up earlier today ( they were late but that’s not an issue ) it has been raining really bad and when I gave them my backpack to put onto the bus the driver pushed me out of the way and I nearly fell and again I didn’t say anything. I then got onto the bus and asked where my seat was and the driver just pointed straight I then just chose a random bed and he started shouting at me and said “ no “ without telling me where to actually go. The drivers here also beep a lot however this driver was constantly beeping every second and if you’re right at the front you will not get ANY sleep. We then stopped for a toilet break and after 3 minutes the driver starts shouting at everyone to come back bear in mind some ladies might take longer in the toilet etc. and lastly, there are children on this bus and the driver is driving and smoking cigarettes. I’m only about 4 hours into my journey and still have about 8 more left. Just wanted to warn everyone as it’s definitely made me feel out of place and I feel like I have to tip toe around them as I’m worried they will shout at me again lol.

There’s a price for everything. Buses are cheap for the reasons you mentioned. If you don’t want to fly Vietnam Airline, there are luxury train options that go to Ha Noi.

The number of times we were blasting up windy cliff roads in complete whiteout fog in Vietnam on these insane busses.. I surely thought my days were over

I’m very sad about what you’ve experienced. Guys! Pls…i’m local and I never use local bus for long trip! They are rude, always have more guest than allowance, always go around for hours to pick-up and invite more people on the roads just to fulfill the seats. Pls…! Do not book public bus yourself. Choose hotel or travel agant for tourist bus, vip bus.

Sometimes talking loud doesn’t mean they are rude nor offensive. It is just the way people communicate. If you can’t take this, perhaps you should fly or hire private driver.
