I then got onto the bus and asked where my seat was and the driver just pointed straight I then just chose a random bed and he started shouting at me and said “ no “ without telling me where to actually go. The drivers here also beep a lot however this driver was constantly beeping every second and if you’re right at the front you will not get ANY sleep. We then stopped for a toilet break and after 3 minutes the driver starts shouting at everyone to come back bear in mind some ladies might take longer in the toilet etc. and lastly, there are children on this bus and the driver is driving and smoking cigarettes. I’m only about 4 hours into my journey and still have about 8 more left. Just wanted to warn everyone as it’s definitely made me feel out of place and I feel like I have to tip toe around them as I’m worried they will shout at me again lol.

Brian Nguyen it is a single lady travelling on herown, which makes her vulnerable to start with. I would of thought it would be important to you that she feels safe in your country. Tourism is very important .

With internal flights around $50 fly, sleeper buses are deadly.

Last time i was in VN , my Đà Lạt – Sài Gòn bus with about 30 passengers on board almost had a head-on collision with another bus coming from the opposite direction. Our driver attempted an illegal pass on a winding mountain road! Consider yourself lucky … your driver was only rude to you.

Goshhhh, good that you shared here. You’re not supposed to experience such. I cannot remember the sleeping bus company that I used for my Hanoi – sapa but our driver was really gentle. Yours is a monster for even smoking.
