( I never complain and I am aware I am in Asia and don’t have high expectations what so ever and by that I mean that I know I’m not in my home country so the culture and the behaviour of locals will differ and this is my 3rd sleeper bus this week and the others have been completely fine) I just wanted to say to avoid this company when booking your sleeper bus ( tuan Trinh) I got picked up earlier today ( they were late but that’s not an issue ) it has been raining really bad and when I gave them my backpack to put onto the bus the driver pushed me out of the way and I nearly fell and again I didn’t say anything. I then got onto the bus and asked where my seat was and the driver just pointed straight I then just chose a random bed and he started shouting at me and said “ no “ without telling me where to actually go. The drivers here also beep a lot however this driver was constantly beeping every second and if you’re right at the front you will not get ANY sleep. We then stopped for a toilet break and after 3 minutes the driver starts shouting at everyone to come back bear in mind some ladies might take longer in the toilet etc. and lastly, there are children on this bus and the driver is driving and smoking cigarettes. I’m only about 4 hours into my journey and still have about 8 more left. Just wanted to warn everyone as it’s definitely made me feel out of place and I feel like I have to tip toe around them as I’m worried they will shout at me again lol.

Some people should stay quiet if they are not going to say anything useful, the girl had a bad experience and people are being rude, feel disgusted reading some of the comments

I experience my first sleeper bus at night time and never again, I rather travel during the day. The scenery is beautiful.

Every single thing you mention has happened to me (although not on the same bus trip).

“I am aware I am in Asia” is such a racist thing to say and a crazy way to start your story. Yeah, cause all countries in Asia are like this. Foreigners, lower your expectations please as we are not as educated and our country isn’t as well-developed as yours.

You can see from the comments section – Vietnamese hate to see anyone criticise them for their rude behaviour or scams lol

You gotta stick to the well rated companies of which there aren’t many. HK business and G8 seem to the best. Went to Sapa with HK and had no problems. You really get what you pay for with the sleeper buses, I’ve heard so many horror stories like this on the sleeper buses, seems to be a lot of rogues.

Can I just add for all the ignorant people, I am not an entitled person which you’re all assuming just because I am white? I worked very hard for years to be able to come out and explore Asia. Like I said I never complain about things like that will happen however I wanted to warn other travellers. I am polite and I know basic Vietnamese. If a Vietnamese person worked very hard for years to come to England was treated like this they wouldn’t be happy as it’s simple human decency to be respectful to others and I wouldn’t personally treat anyone this way.
