If you’re Canadian, do a regimen of Dukarol before you leave home. The tropical disease clinic or your family doctor can give you a prescription for an antibiotic to fill before you leave home. Use it if you’ve had diahherea for more than a few days. My family doctor said to only use Imodium if you need it on a travel day. Otherwise, let it run through your system.
Nothing. We were there 3 weeks no issues. Its not Bali. Everything was amazing and we ate from street food vendors had drinks with ice! If something happens the pharmacy is readily available and they are awesome

Nothing. Food poisoning is not common. And if it does happen, there are lots of pharmacies and you can easily access medication there if you have an issue. But I’ve lived here 5 years and haven’t had food poisoning at all. It can happen just like it can anywhere, but it’s not a serious problem.
We took Dukerol 2 weeks before our trip. It’s an oral vaccine to prevent food borne illnesses. We’ve been away for 4 weeks and so far so good.knock knock🙂
