   Nope. Not once in four weeks and I eat plenty of street food, peeled fruits and drink many drink with ice in the street.

   Never taken Travelan nor probiotics. Don’t eat street trolley food so after 3 x 2 week trips, never sick. Drink bottled water but ice OK in drinks

   Been here going on four years, eat at small restaurants, street food, cafe, a lot of small chair street-side etc and sick only one time at an Indian restaurant and it was a classy place. Just assess how clean the joint/stand is, are locals eating there locals will shun any bad food providers, are they busy turning things over or is it just sitting there for a long time? how clean is the vendor themselves? take care with shellfish and similar, make sure it’s well cooked, go for fried and grilled, wash or wipe clean utensils all the usual stuff and there are no guarantees but you can minimise risk

   I just got back a few days ago. Definitely drink bottled water but I had plenty of iced coffee and no issues. But bring meds in case.
