Was in Vietnam for almost a month with OAT group of 16. Many of us noted that we often took a Tums or two at home every week, but none of us felt that need with Vietnamese food! Great food in people’s houses, in restaurants, in little holes-in-the-wall sitting on those tiny stools. We had ice, especially iced salt coffee. We ate salads. We were fine.
Never had food poisoning in Vietnam, just be careful, it can happen anywhere.
No
Not from the food I don’t think but don’t trust any ice in your drinks unless it’s from a reputable bar or restaurant
I was having diarrhea almost everyday for the entire 90 days. I even ended up in emergency with food poisoning once, totally septic.
Nope

Had a parasite that half killed me but didn’t put me off. Unlucky
