Eat the street food, prepare for heat lol, take your time and enjoy the place. It can be chaos but also peace within the chaos. Don’t buy a Sim card from the airport, instead go to a viettel shop its a lot cheaper. I’m over here now and upload daily videos to my tiktok if you want some inspiration. I’ll post below

Privacy and space is not an option! The women are over protective of their foreign men, they are chain smokers, feet and nose, that’s all imma say!

Bring Imodium with you and never drink the tapwater, only bottled and filtered water. Most restaurants will have filtered water, however, your hotel tap probably does not..

I’m petite. But even I have a hard time finding clothes that fit in SEA. Bring what you love/need and shop for what you want. That way you won’t be stressed trying to bargain shop in this region.

Pack at least one layer for different climates. As in, one long-sleeve shirt, one long pair of loose fitting pants, warm leggings and one light rain jacket.

Be decisive when crossing the road. Hesitating may put you in a hospital. 😂

If traveling to multiple countries, download and buy a cheap e-Sim plan before every flight. This makes it much easier to use the local rideshare app (which you should also download before traveling) when you arrive to a new country. Then, if your intended stay is a month or more, you can just buy a local SIM card for an affordable price. Just make sure you phone is unlocked (Google if you don’t know what this means or don’t know if your phone already is).
