Don’t trust the hotel photos online. Looks luxury, and the lobby is but the rooms not so much. This being said, we always had a clean bed with fresh ironed linen.

Download Grab app for your transport movement in Vietnam. This will save you a lot of headaches dealing with some dishonest taxi drivers. Never trust anyone trying to get a ride for you. Just ignore them. 90% of the time are scam vehicles trying to over charge you.

Don’t pack so much clothes – Anywhere you go, there are laundry services that wash, fold, and deliver clothes for only a dollar or two per kg. Also, if you are going to any places with a reputable bank, you can use atm to get money instead of bringing cash. That way, you don’t have to worry about theft or exchanging money for local currency. The bank gives you very good exchange rate. I opened a Schwab checking account with atm services and it will reimburse any atm fees.
