Go I’m almost 69 and my hubby is 72 we love it there and we are going in May and I think this will be our 5th or 6th visit. The people are so nice and the food and drinks are great and so cheap compared to Australia. We love it and it’s our go to place if we need a break.
Nicest country on the planet. I am 78, my last visit was last year. Started at the top and worked down to the bottom. Great place and would live there if not for grand kids

Go for it. Manage your time and dont try and go to lots of places. Pick a few spots with good transport connections between them. We are planning our trip and have chosen Hanoi, Hoi An and then Ho chi Minh, as our base, and will do day and overnight trips from these 3 places.
Best advice… just go!
Da Nang has been great… people are really nice.. food is good and affordable. Been here 80 days.leave next week. Learn a few words…they will love you.
