My boyfriend and I are both 75 and we spent two weeks in Vietnam in December… We absolutely loved it. There’s still so much more to see but we did love Hanoi, DaNang, Hoi An and HCMC. We definitely want to go back
I will be going back there this Sunday for my 16th visit !
I’m 72 and having the best time of my life. Amazing people, great food, fantastic nature and superb traditions. Enjoy it.
My husband is 80 and I am 74 – we are by no means super fit and we are in Vietnam now.
Do it! I’ve brought guests in their 70’s and even in their 80’s to Vietnam as part of a small group tour and they loved it. They actually commented afterwards that they could have done it alone it was so easy and seamless. Especially if you choose just 1 destination to enjoy and explore rather than an action packed fast paced holiday.
The only genuine problem you are going to run into?
I’ve never been. But after extensive research I fully intend to. Looks like an amazing place and is becoming more popular than Thailand now, due to Thailand shooting themselves in the foot constantly with overpricing, scams, bad tourists and ever changing visa rules.
