Is it safe to leave passport in hotel safe ?I’ve purchased a travel safe and padlocks for my suitcase. Is it safe to leave passports in hotel safe ? Or is passport in my personal travel safe and then in hotel safe ? Or could I leave in luggage in my travel safe with padlock on suitcase? I’ve heard so much conflicting information and also about bags being snatched so not wanting to take them with me every where and out on tours to water etc.

I travelled over 100 countries in over 50yrs and I had my passport always in the Hotel Safe.
In various groups many have reported having money stolen from their hotel safe. They are not safe.
