Is it safe to leave passport in hotel safe ?I’ve purchased a travel safe and padlocks for my suitcase. Is it safe to leave passports in hotel safe ? Or is passport in my personal travel safe and then in hotel safe ? Or could I leave in luggage in my travel safe with padlock on suitcase? I’ve heard so much conflicting information and also about bags being snatched so not wanting to take them with me every where and out on tours to water etc.

Never leave anything of value in your room or safe. Give everything to the front desk for safe keeping.
Lock it in your suitcase, safer than a hotel room safe.

I carry mine on me,use the matador travel stash for extra cash cards and passports.
Don’t carry your passport with you if you lose it it’s a major hassle. Keep in your hotel safe.
Hotel safe is fine we’ve kept there in all cities we travelled. Take picture of passport inside page also of locker after keeping passport for records
