What are things you would definitely recommend bringing when visiting Vietnam for the first time? Not the obvious stuff like cash, but things you personally found useful that are hard to find or expensive there.Thank you🥰

A small pair of scissors. Lip balm with sunscreen, mini hand lotion and hand sanitizer for your day pack
Mosquito repellent and sun screen….
Bring shampoo and conditioner. I normally don’t and get at destination, little or no choice, and expensive. Hairdryer.
A good oil based ph neutral face wash. Washcloth. A good sweat proof facial moisturiser. A good sunscreen. Poncho that is good for wind or light rain. Good sturdy walking shoes. Woman’s bathing suits, undergarments. Specific vitamins.. ie.. zinc, magnesium, melatonin.. and so on..
Depends when you go. Im here now and the only thing ive needed is an adapter for the plug points (am from NZ)
F you use natural products, can’t get Magnesium spray, fir my cramping legs. Arnica for bruising. Etc
Is this a trick question? If so, bring your iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Most things you can buy there, the insect repellent there is brilliant. But for women 2 things to bring, tampons because they are expensive and a pair of bike shorts if you wear short dresses, because you are often sitting on low stools to eat. Bring pocket tissues to carry everywhere for toilet paper, loose cotton singlets if you are there when its hot and humid, a wind break jacket if you are there in wet weather, good walking shoes. I didn’t even bring shampoo and conditioner, I just went and paid to get my hair washed. Enjoy! Oh and No need for cash, you can get it out over there, without paying fees. Download a few apps, translater, what’s app, money converter and grab. We went to the local phone shop and just got a physical sim for data only, and just used messenger. So cheap, will last 30 days and they set it all up for you.
– Everywhere has shampoo, but not conditioner.
