For raw oyster lovers: Bring a bottle of TABASCO with you. I’ve been to 2 – 3 restaurants in Hanoi, and they didn’t have TABASCO which is the best condiments with lemon or lime wedges in my humble opinion. Sio, this time, I will be bringing one with me. LOVE slurpping those FRESH RAW OYSTERS ON THEIR SHELLS.
Pack less and stay longer if possible 13 days not enough.
Stay longer as its a beautiful country. Best time to travel is Nov till March. Avoid July- Oct as its hot and raining whole day
Actually, it’s interesting to note that many international brands like Nike and Adidas are made in Vietnam.
Where’s best for shopping in Hanoi, I’m going in 2 days. I can’t wait to visit, I bought a bit in Thailand and I wish I’d waited

You’ll save even more money if your a mile from the tourist spots. Great place to retire!
Most over stimulating place I’ve ever been
This all sounds wonderful.
