Go! You don’t need to do adventurous hikes, you can take it in and just enjoy the city 🩷 my grandmas brother still lives there and walking etc is easy! There are bikes and cars to take and then benches to sit sand cafes to just lounge and chat and take it all in 🥰

You’ll be fine. My only comments is don’t even think about the 300 steps above MUS cave at Tom Cox. I’m a pretty fit 60 year old and it nearly killed me. Very steep and slippery. Apart from that Vietnam is great

If you have walking difficulties and want to book a tour, pay the extra cost for a private tour! While it may say everywhere that the tours are suitable for people with walking disabilities, which is true, the guides do the whole thing at a run. Believe me, I know what I’m talking about!

I am 83 years old and traveling alone to Hanoi for three months at a time. It is not a problem at all. Just making it as easy on yourself as possible. It’s really the key.

Just go; you’ll have the holiday of a lifetime and older people are treated with great respect

I took my 93 yr old dad and he had a blast. He was fitter than me and loved haggling in the markets. He would come back in the blink of an eye.
