We have been at least 7 times due out again in September never had an issue there at all we have seen many changes over the years fantastic people and a beautiful place well worth the visit we have been north middle and south Vietnam
It is the most beautiful, warm, welcoming country and so respectful! I am not 60 but I see how everyone and elders are treated and would have no concerns. Yes, sidewalks are very uneven, pavement not smooth but careful and slow. steady pace is fine. Lots of tour groups that have older folks. It is truly an experience worth every ounce of long flight! (go premium economy) or business ☺️
Go for it. Its an amazing country. We are in our 60s and have just enjoyed spending time in Hoi An.
Hello Sam Wilson. I felt extremely safe in Vietnam. But I highly recommend you use a professional tour company. Amawaterways was amazing. They are worth every penny. If you want some free quotes and direction with Vietnam I would love to help you.
I’m 62 and love it there. Going for my 3rd time in 10 days
Stop worrying go and enjoy it. It’s a wonderful place to visit.
The footpaths are in much better condition than in places like Bali & Thailand but the traffic is crazy & difficult to cross busy roads.
Just go and enjoy beautiful Vietnam.
Just got back with my 75 year old dad spent 19plus days on scooters and motorbikes went from HCMC to the China boarder. he said tonight that they know how to treat thier elders.
Just go. Book it, get your travel insurance and go and enjoy.
