I’m over 70 and have been to Vietnam five times since my 60’s and have found the Vietnamese people to be the most welcoming people coupled with the food, culture and their landscapes l would be back there tomorrow,
Some countries have age limit on their day tours, usually 70+. But I don’t believe Vietnam has an age limit on their tours as most are relax sightseeing tours Foods are pretty safe to eat, even at those plastic chair/table side food sheds.

I went last year and I am your age. I used HolidayMax and they were amazing
If you like cities check out Hanoi when the pollution isn t bad. Very attractive city with many lakes and fine architecture. Grab taxi system is reliable and they arrive quickly. A visit to the Hanoi Hilton is worthwhile.
