My wife and I are 74 & 75 and have been going to Vietnam alone on holidays for a couple of months for the past 8 or so years. Heading back again in June. Love it; such a wonderful country, people and culture . Definitely don’t let your age deter you. Go and enjoy. You won’t regret it.

So many great comments! Starting to plan a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia in November but have never been there! We need recommendations for travel guide, transportation etc.to set up a trip. Please send me any specific information that you can recommend, I’d so appreciate it! Thank you! I can’t wait!

Forget about it, it’s too dangerous to cross the road. I would not recommend Vietnam for older folks, even for spring chickens it’s stressful.

I’ve got a few years on you and I went last year. With reasonable care it’s an easy country to visit. Go and enjoy it
