We preferred DaNang over Saigon because it is slower paced, less people and traffic. We also hired a private driver to bring us around to the sites, I prefer it to a group tour since you’re going at your own pace and to the specific places you want. I can send you our drivers contact info, he was great and really inexpensive. For 2 full days 9 am to 9 pm he charged us around $100 picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off so convenient. Going on tours with 20plus other people is chaotic and sometimes you’re stuck waiting for others vs making changes on the fly if you want.
Hey I went at 72. Am pretty fit and no issues. If you can manage the exploring then give it a go
I am in my mid sixties and my husband early 70’s. No problems at all in fact heading there again in a couple of weeks. Lovely place
Must go! The only advice
Sam Wilson we were on a trip with Melissa Harris Roberts and Luxevo Vacations with Melissa to Vietnam and it was the most amazing trip. Even during our free time exploring the country on our own we felt safe. The country is extremely welcoming!!! We loved our time there !!
Go absolutely beautiful country people so polite and friendly,
Don’t think, just go!
Danang and HoiAn are perfect for vacation – historic, food, cultural, beach and shopping -everything
Go and enjoy
Very keen to go (from UK) next Autumn but booking flights is currently a problem.
