My thoughts on Nha Trang I’m just leaving Nha Trang after 4 days here.

My thoughts on Nha Trang I’m just leaving Nha Trang after 4 days here. 4 weeks in Vietnam. I’ve loved every bit, except for Nha Trang. It’s full of Russians, the signs are often in Russian.I never had a thing about Russians before this, but by golly, I’ve been bruised by them on the street, as they just push past you, no manners in giving (even a fraction), when pushing past you on the footpath. I’ve heard them abuse the locals way too often. It’s not nice here anymore. I came to Nha Trang 16 years ago and really enjoyed myself. This time, I actually ended up avoiding going out, because the vibe isn’t great.Maybe I was in the wrong part of Nha Trang, but I am so happy to be leaving and I won’t be coming back. Has anyone else had a similar experience here, or is it just me?I did meet a couple of nice ones, but the majority just treated others like we are in their way, like servants and the manners were non existent that I saw, in general.

We avoided it like the plague. We were transiting south to north, on motorcycles. Even back in 2019 we heard the Russians had overrun it, and the bent cops had motorcycle traps.

I’m Russian, but Russians in Nha Trang from small towns, usually from countryside, aggressive and showing ego when have a little bit power and money (for rest world real a little bit money, like 1500 usd in month salary, but in Vietnam you can feel yourself like a king) and this is a problem. Moscow, saint-Petersburg and other big cities citizens not same, most of have good manners, happy to live there for many years, great time. But very sad to say, most of Russia is a countryside … not Moscow. And issue number 2 is Vietnam rising economic, money come to country with western money rules, losing their identity step by step… love Vietnam nature and food ❤️

I noticed the rudeness in Nha Trang too. I cant say that is why Nha Trang was my least favourite place in Vietnam. I also got a nasty case of food poisoning while I was there so I think my opinion is skewed by that too.
