My thoughts on Nha Trang I’m just leaving Nha Trang after 4 days here. 4 weeks in Vietnam. I’ve loved every bit, except for Nha Trang. It’s full of Russians, the signs are often in Russian.I never had a thing about Russians before this, but by golly, I’ve been bruised by them on the street, as they just push past you, no manners in giving (even a fraction), when pushing past you on the footpath. I’ve heard them abuse the locals way too often. It’s not nice here anymore. I came to Nha Trang 16 years ago and really enjoyed myself. This time, I actually ended up avoiding going out, because the vibe isn’t great.Maybe I was in the wrong part of Nha Trang, but I am so happy to be leaving and I won’t be coming back. Has anyone else had a similar experience here, or is it just me?I did meet a couple of nice ones, but the majority just treated others like we are in their way, like servants and the manners were non existent that I saw, in general.

Yes 5 years ago. Shocking behaviour. Me being a straight forward strong vocal woman, had many a run in with totally rude Russisn men. Business owners being agressive & rude to staff. Couldnt keep my mouth shut, had to reprimand their behaviour in public. We will never return there Russians have taken over the place, the local workers are treated like slaves as you said, heart breaking. The local authorities need to correct the situation.
As someone who went to nha Trang in October I 100% agree 🥲 they’ve ran out most of the locals and a lot of the stores are Russian as well. They were not friendly and during the hotels free breakfast they were savages and have no social awareness. But I LOVED nha Trang it was gorgeous. It did feel like I left Vietnam and went to Russia though the 5 days I was there.
They are ignorant, inconsiderate,arrogant people 🇨🇦
We spent a week in both Mui Ne and Na Trang, loved them both but yes they are both places that the Russians holiday at. But did we care? No just all part of the experience, and because we smile constantly, the Vietnamese know you’re not Russian 😁
We ran into them many places in Vietnam. Always unfriendly.
Totally agree about the rudeness of the Russians but there was so much more we didn’t like. We were there a week and found it very hard to get nice food. We never found a cool coffee shop or chilled bar to spend some hours. The massage places were the worst we had experienced- walked out of one as it was like an open meat market.
The only Russian’s I have seen were doing blow off the back of their hands at 5:30am on the streets of Da Nang. Never gone to bed, still loudly partying and up to no good. I’m glad I only saw this once here.
Same here. In Vietnam for 4 weeks and Nha Trang was the worse place for me.

I had the same issue in 2015 most tourists, except Westerners and first world countries, cut in lines, spitting, etc. everywhere. I guess the cause of different cultures.
