I’m going to Vietnam for 3 weeks should I buy this T-Mobile international plan for $50 or is it cheaper to get a ESIM at the airport when I arrive over there?

Get a local sim(not from the airport) it’s like $15/mo, last time I was there anyways.

I did both for my wife’s phone and mine. We still had problems in spots with a lot of people. We ended up using WiFi a lot.

Don’t get it. I spent 2 weeks in Thailand and didn’t need to get any extra coverage. They give enough data for international use and there enough places with free wifi.

A Vietnamese physical sim is about 7.50USD per month for 6gb per day and a local number. $50 seems rather expensive for the convenience of keeping your home number.

If you need esim or Sim card. You have to purchase at the air port. You can’t buy anywhere else.
