We’ve never had any problems and have stayed in all types of accom across Vietnam. The only theft posts I have ever seen has usually assumed it has been done by another tourist. So just be careful if staying in budget accom with shared facilities etc.
Go 5 stars hotel only !!
I’ve never had a single problem there. Nothing.
Been travelling in Vietnam for 5 weeks. Never locked ipad away. Cash and cards in locked backpack. Dont trust room safes.
