Are hotel rooms in Hanoi safe to leave valuables in when away exploring the city? Deposit box, locked luggage are enough? Sorry first time traveling to Vietnam, any good tips appreciated

In Hanoi as I write this left my electronics equipment in hotel room and went out exploring came back same place. Been all over Vietnam in many different hotels no problems .
We spent 3 months in Vietnam and kept our passports and credit cards in lockable luggage and had no issues. At times left our laptops and headphones out while housekeeping came and had no issues.
What valuable are you bringing? Keep your passport safely with you. And you shouldn’t need anything else that has to go in a safe
If no box ask office if any safety box
I was in Hanoi. Nothing was ever taken but I was especially careful. Left a cash tip on the bed every single day.
No
We spent 6 weeks in Vietnam recently across a variety of accommodation. We just tried to be sensible, splitting money across us, I preferred to used locks on luggage on room and knew where I’d left zips… never any concerns. But to be fair we don’t have any valuables other than passport and small amount of cash. We lock our cards so they can’t be used.
forgot the code to the safe, the staff solved it quickly
If you are this paranoid just stay home😂😂 it’s Southeast Asia not the Americas
I traveled to Hanoi last September, we put money into safe deposit box. No problem at all. We walked on streets without worrying about robbery or pick pockets as simply it was safe there. Vietnamese people even wearing gold jewellery and no issues at all.
