   A friend got pickpocketed in Hanoi and her phone was her worst loss. Always be on your guard; wear a bodybag that’s snap-proof (depending on type, put a plastic tie lock on strap). Do not act like a tourist (reading maps on the street).

   I never got an issue travelling to Vietnam like that. I’ve been to Siagon, Hanoi, Danang ang hoian, they are warm hearted not like in Hong Kong.
