I would be worried more ,foreigners than Vietnamese. I’m a tourist, it’s my 25th times and this time I’m spending 3 months in Vietnam. Yesterday I was sharing an elevator in my apartment building with a foreigner, could be Russian or Ukrainian or Belarusian. I swear he looked so creepy, kinda the look of serial k..I.ller. I was taking a elevator from level 39 down to 1, less than a minute ride but I almost pee in my skirt. I never felt that way been around the locals.

There are pick pockets in every country. Be smart, protect your wallet and use situational awareness. Vietnam is a beautiful country with friendly, welcoming people.

You come from Spain bro! I think no need to be careful about that if you consider how unsafe is Madrid or Paris now lol

Vietnam as a country is brilliant, people are so welcoming, friendly happy to see tourist. One of the best and safest south East Asian countries. Danang, Hoi Ann, Saigon and Hanoi. No issue what so ever

The onlyyyy place in the whole country that have been instructed to be careful is beer street on Hanoi old quarter. SEA in general is one of the safest place in the world

Vietnam much less crime than Europe or US. Unless you’re in drug trade or a boom boom business everything honest and safe

Recently I left my credit card in the cash machine. A group literally chased after me to give it back 🙂
