We are staying in a hotel over Tet (4* if that makes any difference) and we’re wanting to gift a small token of our appreciation to the staff we deal with who are working that day. Would $100,000 vnd each be acceptable or is that insulting? We are staying in a hotel over Tet (4* if that makes any difference) and we’re wanting to gift a small token of our appreciation to the staff we deal with who are working that day. 200,000 vnd is much nicer and it could be great if you put it into an e=red/colorful envelope. 😃
It’s good, no problem. Any over 100k is appreciated
100 thousand dong is perfect. You can give more if you wish but that’s amount is decent . The thought that’s count . If people get upset by the amount you give then I think they don’t deserve it
Any amount would be appreciated – it is the thought that counts and that you made the effort to embrace the country’s culture for Tet.
I’m giving 500k
its nice
200k is a nice tip.
Its for tet and its met for good luck. No issues on 100k. But if service been great and considering some cant go back to the countryside to see family a bit more would be good gesture. Ever consider 200k? Just my opinion but receiving money on tet will make them happy im sure
What a wonderful idea.
I read 100,000 dollars in VND. I’ll accept on their behalf.. jk
