Is ninh binh worth a night stay or a day trip?My hubby and I will be spending our last 4 days in Hanoi and we’re trying to figure out if we should just stick around Hanoi for those 4 days, or if ninh Binh is worth checking out. And if so, would y’all recommend staying the night, or is a day trip enough?

At least one night. Two would be better.
We stayed in Tam Coc for 2 nights and loved it. We needed more time
We’ve done both during the years. Personally for a short time, I’d recommend a day trip. We did a small group day trip and saw so much. When we went there were lots to choose from, generally with some including Tam coc and others Trang an.
3 night in Hanoi is enough, get down to DaNang, HoiAn and An Bang Beach. 🇻🇳❤️
I stayed for 4D3N in Tam Coc. Joined the two boat tours, then biked from Tam Coc to Trang An and back
Depends what you like. Ninh binh is very quiet. There is much more to fo in Hanoi

Hanoï if you like to be in town, Tam Coc (Chez Loan) if you enjoy countryside !
