Is ninh binh worth a night stay or a day trip?My hubby and I will be spending our last 4 days in Hanoi and we’re trying to figure out if we should just stick around Hanoi for those 4 days, or if ninh Binh is worth checking out. And if so, would y’all recommend staying the night, or is a day trip enough?

In one day we did the ride on boats through the caves and the karsts, a visit to an ancient pagoda, a lovely lunch in a lovely woman’s lovely garden, and a stop at a pagoda of the last king where an elderly man who teaches historic instruments to local kids played them for us at the entrance. Worth a few nights.
Ninh Binh is beautiful – a must visit. We stayed two nights near Van Long Nature Reserve and wished we had longer. The scenery and nature are stunning.
Do the Hanoi jeep tour that’s great and a day or two trip to nihn bin have you done Ha long bay
Tam coc nature lodge is very beautiful and a great break from Hanoi
