   Me! I contacted the accomodation via Booking and they said it is a scam. Delete it and don’t click on links. Booking doesn’t pass on phone numbers so unless you exchanged it yourself (via Booking) it is not your accomodation!

   I booked accommodation in hanoi and got a whats app message to click on link to confirm reservation. Booked via agoda, i cross checked with hotel on their whats app number, turns out it was a scam. So please don’t give any info or click on any link unless you are sure its legit.

   It’s normal the homestay they contact by WhatsApp just to confirm if you arrive or not because booking policy there is no advance payment. By the way if you are often check booking sms then it’s best way to communicate on booking

   Got one last night had all the details of my booking in Da Nang dates etc. but not the reference number threatening cancellation if I didn’t confirm with them I told them to go ahead and cancel. Checked with the residence via the booking site..total scam but how/ where are they getting the basic data?
