When I first heard about the fact it will be pointed out or commented on, as a plus size gentleman, I was disturbed. But after awhile I just decided to laugh, shrug and embrace it. I am wearing this on my trip.

I’m an average sized Australian woman – didn’t know whether to be offended or laugh , when Vietnam women would grab my hand as I walked past their stall, saying “come in , come in, we have your size XXL “ 😄
Yes Expect stares People will stop in the street to look at you And you will get occasional comment They sometimes even touch your stomach Its supposed to be good luck for them Had those things happen to me when i lived there No malice meant by any of it though
How about diet and exercise instead of vacation 🤷♂️🤔
I’m obese and 5ft 8, last time I was there I had problems with older ladies coming up to me, pinching both cheeks and exclaiming “So cute face, just like squirrel!”
People have no shame anymore.
Bit unrelated but I was just in Vietnam and my luggage was lost. Big clothing wasn’t readily available. A lady size 12 would have difficultly, so pack extra in your suitcase.
