I'm sorry if this gets asked all the time . I'm doing my first solo trip to Vietnam for 3 weeks . I'm from the UK, I've managed to save a good wadv of cash (all hotels paid for and some trips) . How do I go about exchanging it ? Am I better off putting it on some kind of card ? Take money out of their ATM ....

Best ATM in HANOI?Does anyone know an ATM in Hanoi that allows large withdrawals with no local fees?I need to withdraw about 25,000,000 VND in one transaction if possible. I’m trying to avoid making multiple withdrawals so I don’t get hit with multiple fees from my bank.Has anyone successfully done this in Hanoi?Which ATM or bank is the best option?Thanks!

Just got to Danang and it’s cold and windy. Weather forecasts are all different . Anyone know of a good accurate weather app?Also thought we’d go from here to Hanoi but not if it’s colder there. Will it be too cold to enjoy Halong bay, swim etc?TIA

Hello, I did try searching this but the replies are a bit historic so I'm after a more recent answer. I'm off on a solo trip to Vietnam next month for 7 weeks (HCMC, Nha Trang, Da Nang & Hanoi) and not sure how much cash to carry.
