Hi, we’re going Vietnam in March 🤩 Has anyone done the Ha Giang Loop solo (without a tour)? Me and my partner are thinking of just hiring a bike and doing it ourselves over 3 days. Would love to know any tips/ good stop offs / accommodation recommendations 🥰

Just in Hanoi now and wondering which ATMs have the lowest charges or no charges? Are there golf shops in the old quarter that exchange money? Our hotel doesn’t want to say as they are tightening up on those places. Thanks for your input.

Jan 24-27: something big happening? – Ho Chi Minh City Forum

Last spring I stayed several days at the Vien Dong hotel for around 50 USD per night. I'm looking on Booking dot com right now and seeing no availability, and prices the following week around 180 USD per night. Is there some big event I don't know about? Last year I inadvertently bumped into Reunification Day preparations, and that was crazy enough.

Have anyone ever use RoadsTour Vietnam? Or does anyone have any recommendations for a tour company in Ho Chi Minh City or Vietnam? We wanted to do a 2 nights 3 days road trip to Da Lat from Ho Chi Minh City. We are a group of 8 people so a private tour would be a great option.
