We currently only have one night in Ninh Binh. We could switch a couple of things around and stay two nights, but we would miss out on Ha Long Bay. Would we be missing much if we skipped out on Ha Long Bay?

Ha Long Bay is really over-rated, in my opinion
I haven’t been to ha long bay. Decided to skip it because of the weather. Stayed 2 nights in Tam Coc and it would’ve been great to stay longer. Peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful scenery.
I’ve been to both and they’re both magical places and different experince. But the overnight cruise in Lan Ha is a another level. To say they’re the same because they both have karst mountains is laughable.
Ninh Binh is the inland version of Ha Long Bay.😉
Ninh Binh for sure for longer.
