Our family of 4 needs to get to Can Tho from Saigon on January 1st (then back again on January 4th). Looking for a good value car service that can transport us and 4 decent bags. Any car company recommendations would be much appreciated.

Can I check whether this service was strong and you would recommend? I need to book a similar tour from HCMC to Can Tho in April and want to make some stops. May take the bus back to centre of HCMC.

Thanks for the heads up – yes reviews are not amazing but we were a bit stumped for alternatives in this region. Absolutely love the idea of the green Mekong but it looks like no availability on one of our dates (2nd night). Any other recommendations that would suit? The bamboo eco lodge in Can Tho also gets good reviews. Would ideally love a pool for the kids but it’s not a deal breaker.
By the way, you choose a good time to visit the Mekong.
About 3 weeks ahead of the Tết New Year.

2 P.M. flight means that if you want to stop by the Đông Hoà Hiệp Village, you’d need to leave before 8 A.M.

The reviews on Mekong Ecolodge are a mixed bag.
Have you checked out Green Village Mekong?
The reviews are consistently much better either on booking, TA, or Google Map, etc.
And for much less, too.
