My husband just asked what the toilet opportunities are like when out and about around in Vietnam?

My husband just asked what the toilet opportunities are like when out and about around in Vietnam? Is there plenty of public toilets in Hanoi, Hoi An, HCMC and Phu Quoc? We are also visiting Lan Ha bay and the Mekong Delta 👀🙈We are aware that it is recommended to bring own paper 👍

Yes we found wet floors were bit dodgy but had no problems.

Toilets everywhere & most will have the spray to clean your bottom. Always carry tissue paper & wet naps which must go into the bin & not the toilet. Carry cash in case there’s a toilet lady. It’s about $3k VND so not much.

Never miss the opportunity to use a toilet when you see one, example restaurants, hotels, because “just in case” (you’ll thank me later)as they don’t have public toilets everywhere like the western world & carry a small pack of tissues as there isn’t always toilet paper

Good luck with publi toilets, but if u need to do it, just go to a restaurant, order a coffee or a soda. They will let you use their toilet.

In DaNang/Hoi An I found the toilets pretty rough. The floors were always wet.

Just returned from Vietnam and had no problem, did have to pay a few cents when on buses travelling, but no problem at all.

Never had any issues. Carry toilet paper as added protection.
