I see lots of posts about fast track at the airport. Is this just for flights coming in internationally, or for flights domestically within Vietnam as well? Are the wait times really that long? We are flying to a few different cities in Vietnam and I’m concerned now about how much of our day we will spend at the airport.

The wait wasn’t that bad not worth to pay for fast track
I was in ho chi Minh city in July . It took me over an hour and a half to get out cause I was cheap. This time I will just pay for it. After 25h flight I don’t wanna wait.
We arrived in Ho Chi Minh at 5 am and took 2hrs to get through customs going back this time we are getting the fast track 😛
It is hit or miss. I would wing it ie save the money because really it was totally unnecessary both for arrival into Hanoi at around 9 am and early morning departure out of HCMC.
We are in HMC about 4.30 am and next flight to Da Nang is 7.00 am. Is it enough without fast track in that time in the morning?
We didn’t fast track , it took us less than 30 mins to get out of HCMC, there was 4 of us
don’t bother!
Arrival in HCM
We have arrived here almost a month ago and we’ve taken four internal flights came in internationally and sure it looks like there’s a lot of people but the lineup went fast. We didn’t do any fast track. We just kept moving forward and we flew with Vietnam Airlines four different locations and we’re gonna take a fifth one soon. It’s really good a system worksdidn’t freak out about anything. Just keep moving forward.
No waiting for domestic flights. Don’t waste your money
