I see lots of posts about fast track at the airport. Is this just for flights coming in internationally, or for flights domestically within Vietnam as well? Are the wait times really that long? We are flying to a few different cities in Vietnam and I’m concerned now about how much of our day we will spend at the airport.

I flew Bangkok to Phu Quoc. Immigration took about 45 minutes at 1ish pm. 2-3 flights arrived at about the same time
The only queue I had was leaving HCMC, the queue through security was lengthy to say the least, don’t think the A/C was working either!
There’s a counter to pay $10 for fast track domestic
We had it, the queues were long
Just for incoming international to fast track immigration
We landed at Hanoi airport and the immigration line took no more than 10-15min. There are a lot of working desks and the procedure is only a stamp on your passport. No need for fast track at all!
Last night at Saigon I waited much longer for my baggage to show up on the carousel than to get through immigration. I’d save the money.
No waiting domestic flights through both sides in around 15 minutes
