   Use agoda, still some scam places on there site but booking has had many complaints lately….

   I had that yesterday, they asked me to deposit 50% of the fee into their bank account. I said I could not do that and please let me know if they cancelled me so I could find another hotel. They decided it was ok…. LOL

   Does the number say it’s Indian? I had the same thing with a hotel that I’d booked through Trip in Tarlac. Contacted Trip and was told to ignore WhatsApp.

   They all use WhatsApp over there. The hotels I stayed at contacted me via WhatsApp. But don’t give out personal information. There could be scammers out there.
