   I received a message yesterday, saying the same thing after I already had canceled that hotel. I had no idea it was a scam.

   I got sent a message from my hotel on WhatsApp saying there are scams occurring at the moment and not to pay any money.they said they will be in touch a couple of weeks before our booking time

   Yes – I got a couple and blocked them. However – the hotel does send a what’s app message to ask about your arrival time a day or two ahead but do not give any payment info thru what’s app

    Yep I got it few days ago and contacted hotel directly who said it’s a scam, which is disappointing because it means booking.c0m have had information leaked
