I am having second thoughts… 🙁 I have booked 7 nights in Da Nang and 3 nights in Hoi An. Now I’m thinking, should I move one day to Hoi An or leave it like that? Oh, I’m doing Hue separatelly. My idea is to stay in one place for at least some time, when possible, and I was thinking, since Da Nang is a bigger city, that would be perfect to relax for a while. Am I doing it right? There’s still time to rebook 😃

7 nights Da Nang seems like too much – Hoi An has the old town and then the beach area about 3 miles away. Very laid back Costa Rica vibe. Da Nang is more clubby. We’re not really beach people, so we stayed near old town and just rode out to the beach.
I would opt for Hue instead of Da Nang
If you really want a bit of chill with the bonus of a bit of beach time, convert a couple of those Danang days to An Bang beach. Only a 10min grab ride into Hoi an, but a world away from hustle and bustle. We spent 5 days in An Bang and for pure relaxation after a lot of tourosting, it was bliss
Hoi An lots of nights, Danang max 2
I would stay the whole time in Hoi An 😉👏🤪 stayed there the last 4 days and I already miss it so much 😳🥲🥲
We are currently in Danang for five nights and, after a night at BaNa Hills, we are going to Hoi An. We’d recommended spending longer in Hoi A than Danang any time as there are beaches there as well as activities you can do if you want. Old Town has a life at night or you can chill out if you’d rather.
I m going to Vietnam on Fifteen feb . Want to take sim is it good to take from India or outside the airport and which sim is good pl. guide.
Da Nang a good place to spend a few days and catch your breath. Travelling can be exhausting
We stayed 3 nights in Hoi An. We liked it there. Just like someone mentioned earlier about riding a bicycle. I had a fun time riding the bike around. We also paid 200k dong for a boat ride on Thu Bon River and we really enjoyed it. By the way, we stayed at Em’s Homestay 2 on 28 Dao Duy Tu. The hotel’s location is perfect, it’s quiet but close to main attractions. If I were you, I would keep 3 days in Hoi An.
Do remember it’s only 45 minutes away from each other. Also Danang is a lot bigger, and you will need more time to get around. I think what you have done is fine. Also if you need things made they will deliver to you in Danang, like boots like clothes. I don’t think anyone can 💯 answer this as both places are beautiful and it will depend on your likes. Also it’s not hard to book somewhere else for 1 or 2 nights either way through Agoda. Leave a few nights vacant so you can make this choice. I do this a lot when riding throughout Vietnam over the last 15 years living here and you can get some great last minute deals 😂. So much accommodation around. Enjoy either way
