We used a Revolut card.. had no problem at ATMs. (VP bank doesn’t charge fees) and linked GRAB to the card.

We used a Wise card for two months. Used the digital card mist of the time and only used the physical card to withdraw from ATM’s. Made life much easier.

We’ve just spent 2 weeks travelling from Hanoi to HCMC. We used debit card quite a lot but also spent 8 million Dong in cash. You’ll need both.
