Where you going in Cambodia? Waste almost 2 full days by traveling, just to spend 1 day there, is waste of time in my eyes, if you really want to visit Cambodia, flight straight from Manila to Pnom Penh and continue to HCMC,
On day 2, you are missing out to see the tourist attractions as post office, walking street and some more. It focuses more on shopping if it’s what you want. If you want to visit Cambodia, I suggest going to Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.
Bus trip from Cambodia to HCMC will be 7 hours or more!
Way too much going on in such a short amount of time in my opinion. Stick to one country to avoid the back and forth

Why would you want to travel to Cambodia just for a day? And Cambodia where? Personally, I think this is just a waste of time travelling to and fro just to spend 1 full day there.
