I lived in Nam for 10 years. I preferred Thailand 🤣
Vietnam is 100% better. In every way.
Both, for different reasons. It all depends on what you’re looking for in your trip. They are two very different countries. If you’re a foodie and want to explore cities, I’d do Vietnam. If you’re into tropical beaches I’d choose Thailand. That being said, I live in Thailand and visit Vietnam frequently.
We’ve just done 4 days in Bangkok and 8 days in Vietnam- Ba Na hills, Hoi An and Hanoi. Perfect for us.

I think it’s best to visit both and decide for yourself. Everyone has different tastes and preferences, and both countries have their own distinct cultures and specialties.
