Your visa is allowing you to stay until April 1. Your passport was stamped February 22 by mistake. That’s not your fault.

Don’t panic. It doesn’t help at all. Stay calm and you’ll work it out.

You have to leave by the date in your passport. You’re on an exemption at the moment and you new visa has not been activated.

Do a border run on 31 March 2026 and come back in on your 90 day visa, assuming it’s beginning date is on or before 31 March.

You overstayed , go early to the airport pay the fines and learn.

As of December 15, 2025, Vietnam implemented significantly higher fines for visa overstays, with penalties ranging from 500,000 VND ($20) for short stays to over 40 million VND (~$1,520) for long-term violations. Additional consequences for overstaying include potential deportation, exit bans (1–5 years), and mandatory reporting to local immigration authorities.

Ask more people on Facebook but in a different group. Get differing options again but don’t take any of them. Blame the passport for using dates that are in numbers. Numbers are hard. Don’t accept any personal liability and DO NOT use common sense like talking to immigration or the visa office there.
