It depends if it has been due to current flight restrictions if so embassy will help with it .
Who told You, You overstayed when You Can Proof You can stay until April,1?
You can’t rely on a visa issued while you’re in the country – you need to actually enter Vietnam on the new visa to activate it. So you’ll need to sort out your overstay issue asap
Speak to Emily Visa she will help you and is very efficient, has dealt with overstays + I’ve seen a lot of people vouch for her. Don’t listen to the miserable hags on here trying to make you feel worse. This is serious but it’s not the end of the world and happens all the time.
I hope you’re no longer panicking but of course only one visa can be valid at one time and it’s the one you entered the country with.
Firstly, take a deep breath and remind yourself that panicking now will make everything worse and it really won’t help. Do that for as long as it takes to calm down. Then as others have said, find the department of immigration and go see them. Your hotel might be able to help. Going to them is a much better idea than waiting to be grabbed at the airport. Explain your misunderstanding, apologise sincerely and be prepared to pay a fine. Throughout this keep reminding yourself that these things happen in life, lots of other people have got through this and you will be ok.
Wow responsibility and accountability doesn’t grow in everyone’s garden
Print your e-visa just in case.
Meet immigration people; go to respective departments…pay the money …sort out things..Be calm dnt rush…When u r calm u can take better decisions…Also all this expiry n all keep happening with tourists so they knw how to deal well…so whatever they say just do it…
You have violated Vietnam visa regulations… the date you has to leave by is clearly stated in your passport. As this is now more than 2 weeks.. it is likely you will not be allowed to deal with this at the airport… you will not be allowed to board your flight but instead directed to Immigration office in thr city… where you will have to submit your passport, pay a fine and wait 1 week for an exit visa with a new date to remain by. Possibly blacklisted from obtaining a new visa. This is a very serious offence.
